Data Protection at FCH Finance City Hamburg GmbH
FCH Finance City Hamburg GmbH operates the website www.finance-city.hamburg.
Under the binding provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to inform you about the following matters when you use our website.
I. Collection and Processing of Personal Data When Visiting This Website
1. Personal Data
Personal data within the meaning of Article 4 GDPR means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, for example a name, address, email address or date of birth. Information about your use of this website may also constitute personal data if it can be used to identify you.
2. Scope of the Processing of Personal Data
(1) As a general rule, we process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. When you access our website, general information is automatically stored in a log file.
The following data is temporarily stored: your IP address, the name of the file accessed, the date and time of access, a description of the type of web browser used, the amount of data transferred and a message indicating whether the request was successful. Such data is also generated when accessing any other website on the internet and is therefore not a specific feature of this website. The data is stored to safeguard the integrity of the website (for example, to prevent or investigate spam or DDoS attacks). The data is evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes and in anonymised form. No additional personal data about you is stored.
We delete the personal data referred to above after 30 days.
The legal basis for storing the data and log files is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the collection of this data is strictly necessary for the operation of the website, you cannot object to this processing.
(2) We also use cookies to provide a functional website.
a) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the memory or on the hard drive of your device. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier that enables websites and servers to associate the cookie with the specific web browser in which it was stored.
This enables visited websites to distinguish the browser of the data subject from other internet browsers. Cookies do not identify you as a person; only the cookie itself is identified on your device.
(b) Types of cookies
There are generally different types of cookies, namely technically necessary cookies and optional cookies. Optional cookies may, for example, be used to make a website more user-friendly or to display advertising tailored to your interests.
We only use technically necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the functionality of our website; without them, the website would only be usable to a limited extent. Usage data collected through technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles.
c) Legal basis
Technically necessary cookies are considered “strictly necessary” cookies within the meaning of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and do not require consent. The legal basis for their use is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
